My research explores the intersections, stumbles, and cracks between communities, spaces, and beings through a postcolonial and feminist lens. I’m particularly interested in how these topics intersect and influence each other. In how art, embracing different topics, histories and eras, takes on the fundamental role of an a-temporal interstice. It opens breaches and raises questions, bringing into dialogue the inside and the outside in sculptural operations that always imply a shift and consequently a change, even minimal, in perspective.
The artistic process is an experiential becoming that interrogates the relationship between the individual body and the social body, the physical and imaginary spaces.
The spark from which my works come to life is always a minimal detail, a margin, which, if looked closely can turn into a space of possibility, capable of offering a radical perspective from which to look, create and imagine alternatives.

La mia ricerca esplora le intersezioni, gli inciampi, le crepe tra comunità, spazi ed esseri attraverso una lente postcoloniale e femminista. Sono particolarmente interessata a come questi argomenti si intersecano e si influenzano a vicenda. A come l’arte, spaziando tra argomenti, storie ed epoche diverse, assume il ruolo fondamentale di interstizio a-temporale. Apre brecce e pone domande, mettendo in dialogo il dentro e il fuori in operazioni scultoree che implicano sempre uno spostamento e di conseguenza un mutamento, anche minimo, di prospettiva. Il processo artistico è per me un divenire esperienziale che interroga il rapporto tra corpo individuale e corpo sociale, spazi fisici e immaginari.
La scintilla da cui prendono vita i miei lavori è sempre un dettaglio minimo, un margine, che, se guardato da vicino può trasformarsi in luogo di possibilità, capace di offrire una prospettiva radicale da cui guardare, creare, immaginare alternative.
