All the mistakes I made become measurements of inaccessible spaces. Locks deprived of their function, perfectly useless mechanisms. Minimal places whose opening of meaning is allowed only by error and its correction. In the unpretentious intimacy of teaching a language to a stranger, lack and error become “thrown bridges” capable of connecting different histories. Tutti gli errori che ho fatto diventano misure di spazi inaccessibili. Serrature private della loro funzione, meccanismi perfettamente inutili. Luoghi minimi la cui apertura di senso è permessa solo dall’ errore e dalla sua correzione. Nell’intimità senza pretese di insegnare una lingua a un estraeno, la mancanza e l’errore diventano ponti gettati in grado di connettere storie diverse. La stessa parola correggere implica una presenza molteplice, cum-rigere, reggere con. Aprire e chiudere porte, incessantemente, mai definitivamente. A doppia mappa è il tipo di chiave che apre e chiude le porte di questo luogo.
Doppia mappa è anche il gioco di scale che si crea senza riferimenti numerici, confondendo il molto piccolo e il molto grande e doppia mappa è la sovrapposizione di calligrafie, errori e correzioni che si mescolano su questi fogli.
