Comfort Rooms consists of a photograph, a poem and small bird’s nests resting on plaster pallets. The small size of the sculptures leads the visitor to approach and move close to the walls in search of the nests. Only a few centimetres away does one realise that the nests are actually tufts of hair gathered over time. What look like little birds are tin castings with fluid, irregular shapes that clash with the architectural rigidity of the piles.
The hair, like the nest, is an element of connection between inside and outside, acting both as protection and as a diaphragm with the rest of the world.

Gli spazi comodi si compone di una fotografia, una poesia e piccoli nidi d’uccello appoggiati su dei palchetti di gesso. Le dimensioni ridotte delle sculture portano il visitatore ad avvicinarsi e a muoversi vicino alle pareti alla ricerca dei nidi. Solo a qualche centimetro di distanza ci si accorge che i nidi sono in realtà batuffoli di capelli raccolti nel tempo. Quelli che sembrano uccellini sono fusioni in stagno dalle forme fluide e irregolari che si scontrano con la rigidità architettonica dei palchetti. La peluria come il nido è elemento di connessione tra interno ed esterno, funge sia da protezione che da diaframma con il resto del mondo.
